2017 ENUC Conference: “Research Strategies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution”
Under the theme of “Research Strategies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” the 2nd East Asia – Nordic/Benelux University Consortium Conference (2017) was a two-day event providing participating university Research Administrators and Researchers the opportunity to discuss how to adapt to and utilize the Fourth Industrial Revolution in a rapidly changing global environment.
Based on a keynote speech by Dr. Changmo Sung about ‘Innovative Development of Korean Government R&D Strategies for the 4th Industrial Revolution’, participants discussed their perspectives, strategies, and visions for innovation and future educational and research cooperation between Nordic Benelux and East Asian universities.
In addition, the ENUC included sessions for participating universities’ researchers to present and discuss their strengths of research in the areas of:
- The Fourth Revolution and Scientific Innovation
- The Fourth Revolution in Energy & Environment
- The Fourth Revolution and Societal Challenges
